A zebra’s stripes are as unique as a human fingerprint. This distinction and individuality are among some of the same traits that we encourage at Zebra Pen, so when we heard about the alarming endangerment of the Grevy’s zebra, we decided to show our support for efforts to save this dying species..

Efforts

Zebra Pen has partnered with Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and Grevy’s Zebra Trust to help the conservation of Grevy’s zebra!

AZA-accredited institutions have provided $160 million to support Grevy Zebra conservation projects in more than 115 countries. Their efforts resulted in collaboration between AZA and Grevy’s zebra Trust — the only organization dedicated solely to the conservation of the Grevy’s zebra.

The Grevy’s Zebra Trust was established in 2007 to address the urgent need to conserve Grevy’s zebra in community rangelands of Kenya and Ethiopia.

Since our involvement, Zebra Pen has donated $75,000 in support of efforts to save the Grevy’s zebra species

Grevy’s Zebra Need You!
