Get ready to harness the power of your creativity and put your artistic skills to the ultimate challenge with Zebra Pen’s annual MILDLINER Challenge, launching this March (1st-28th) on Instagram with weekly themes, guest judges, and notable prizes. We are excited to host this challenge to both promote the use of art as a creative outlet and give back to our consumers.

CHALLENGE GUIDELINES
Each week throughout the month of March, we will be introducing a new theme on our official Instagram account @zebrapen_usa to motivate artists specializing in planning, bullet journaling, calligraphy/lettering, study notes, and more to create artwork using Zebra’s MILDLINER Double-Ended Creative Highlighters and Dual Tip Brush Pens. Artists of all levels are strongly encouraged to participate and show off their artistic talents.
• Participants must be following @zebrapen_usa and tag our account in their entry posts.
• Entries can be Static Image posts OR Instagram Reels.
• All posts must include any Zebra Pen product that was used in the artwork.
• We highly encourage the use of any additional personal favorite Zebra Pen products aside from the MILDLINER brand in your artwork as well!
Please note: this challenge is only open to legal residents of the U.S./D.C. who are 18 years of age or older.

Think about your favorite quote. Maybe it’s simple but it keeps you going and gives you motivation. Use our wide range of MILDLINER Double Ended Creative Markers and Dual Tip Brush Pens to write out the quote that resonates with you the most. You can use any other of your favorite Zebra Pen products along with MILDLINER.

CHALLENGE: Drawing – Artist's Choice
The choice is yours! Draw or illustrate whatever your heart desires using the Zebra Pen MILDLINER brand and any other of your favorite Zebra Pen products. Feel free to submit any previous artwork you’ve completed that you believe may tie into the weekly themes. However, because this is a challenge, we encourage participants to think outside of the box and create new pieces of art! You are welcome to participate in as many of the weekly challenges as you’d like.

Meet The Judges
Introducing our 2023 MILDLINER Challenge judges…Zebra Pen Artist Ambassadors,
Christina MacArthur and Christine Asciutto!
Christina MacArthur
Christina MacArthur began her journey with art at just four years old, after her mom signed her up for art classes. She immediately fell in love with creating and went on to take a variety of art classes throughout her life. As an adult, she made the decision to put herself out there as an artist. Christina is a hand lettering expert and demo artist.
When it comes to her artistic style, Christina loves using ink to provide an extra touch to each piece. She feels grateful for the opportunity to create each day and encourages others to make time to do the same. She hopes to inspire others to explore their own creativity through hand lettering, coloring and more.
In addition to being an entrepreneur, an artist, and an avid adventurer, Christina is also a wife and a mother of four, who she calls her greatest masterpieces.
Christine Asciutto
Christine Asciutto is the creator behind Twinkleplansherday on YouTube and Instagram where she shares her love of planning, MILDLINERS and all things crafty.
She is a teacher from Scarsdale, NY, where she also runs an after-school drama program. Christine was a member of The Happy Planner Squad (design ambassador 2019-2021) and has been featured as an instructor for Michaels® online classes on staying productive in your planner, budgeting, and card making.
Judging Criteria
Christina and Christine will judge all MILDLINER Challenge entries based on the following criteria:

Judging will begin as the weeks progress, so be sure to get your entries into your preferred category before its end date. Christina and Christine will use the above criteria to choose their two favorite entries from each week’s prompt. Out of those two, they will decide which entry they believe matches the criteria the best. All winners of the weekly challenges will not only win a Zebra Pen Creative Prize Pack but will also be entered to win the grand prize.
The 4 entrants who aren’t chosen as weekly winners by Christina and Christine will be entered into the “People’s Choice” voting which will take place on our official Instagram story @zebrapen_usa so be sure to keep a look out for that. Each photo will be featured in a story poll where our followers will have 24 hours to vote on which piece that they like the best.

- Partial Zebra Pen Instagram Account Takeover. We will announce the Takeover on our account with the date you will be taking over and your headshot. Winner will submit content for approval which includes one static post and one REEL that will also be added to our story.
Voting on Instagram – Winner will get to choose 2 Zebra Pen products of their choice (excludes bundles)
Those who are entered into the People's Choice Instagram voting but are not chosen as the winner will receive 1 Neutral Set Pack of MILDLINER Double Ended Creative Highlighters
