so excellent. If you write in black. you are unable to tell which one is the original. That is why
I always use blue ink.I would appreciate if blue ink will be available soon.

bought several of these pens.opened the first one used it for three days.light use on my kindle fire.the rubber tip has fallen off,now the stylus is useless.

Tried it, liked it. But the question is ink refills in blue, and replacement stylus caps. Without the availability of these items, the pen is useless, and that’s the problem with stylus pens. An absence of replacement parts. One star without parts, 5 stars with.

As a football official, I have used these for years. They are compact and fit nicely into our shirt pockets with our game information card for recording penalties, time outs, etc. The fact that it expands to full length and allows us to have a full sized pen to make our notes but then collapse to fit neatly into our pockets and out of sight is awesome. When it gets colder and we are wearing gloves, we don’t have caps to deal with either. Everyone on our crew uses them. I always have extras to give to younger officials getting started.

This is a pen that I consciously keep track of. I have only lost/let go of one, but never again. It’s one of the coolest little things I own. Kind of James Bond. Maybe it’s an just extendable pen… Maybe it activates the trap door…
I work in a unconvential retail environment where we write a lot of things down on small paper and/or plastic bags (hardware, people. Nuts and bolts. Not what you were thinking). I keep this pen in my polo shirt pocket. It fits fully in my pocket, and the clip is strong enough to keep the pen in my pocket at any angle (I do a lot of bending, carrying, and climbing), and this pen is never in the way or causing discomfort.
This pen writes very well on paper placed over most surfaces, but best over a medium~hard blotter. Smooth transfer of ink (no blobs, good solid lines with regular width).
I haven’t used the stylus much, but it does function well. The extension action is tight, and its all metal construction creates some heft (this is not a cheap plastic pen) without any bulk.

Love this pen! Better than ones from years ago as it now features a stylus point. Perfect for jotting down notes on the spot. Carry it all the time in my pocket for grocery lists and other tasks where a pen is handy. Stylus is great for my phone and tablet too.

I’ve owned the previous model without the stylus for 5+ years and sadly lost it. Of course I had to order a new one right away.
I don’t care about the stylus as I most likely will never use it. Yes the paint will come off eventually but it will still write. And it’s perfect for the side pocket of your jeans.
To the people who are giving the pen a bad rating just because they can’t figure out how to change the cartridge: Ever tried twisting the BOTTOM off? Thought so…

The concept is good. The manufacturer has cheapened the pen by substituting a push-in stylus versus the previous screw in stylus. The newer design works it’s self loose and falls out rendering the device useless as a stylus. Definitely a move in the wrong direction for product improvement

The telescoping pen is a good idea but it’s NOT “refillable” when you can’t get a replacement stylus tip and it takes two months for Zebra to respond to your request. Poor support from Zebra.

I love the compact package of this pen and I love using it, but I completely ruined my first one trying to replace the ink cartridge. Haven’t found any instructions about how to properly replace. Not very straight forward.

I love this pen but I still haven’t figured out how to put a refill in it. I finally bought some refills at Office Depot but taking the ink cartridge inside doesn’t come out very easily. I am currently searching the internet for help.

Cool idea for a pen but poorly made and over priced. Pen stopped working after 3 days of hardly any use…it just won’t write…ink isn’t coming out. The tip also came unscrewed in my pocket and will no longer hold the ink cartridge anymore. Thumbs down on this junk. It says to send it in for a repair or replacement. Who’s going to pay for the shipping? The company that sold me the defective pen? Doubt it. Probably be cheaper to just buy a new one which I won’t be doing…as a matter of fact I won’t be buying from Zebra pens ever again. So they get two stars instead of one for the cool compactness idea.

I’ve been using these pens solely for nearly 10 years and now I can’t find refills. I tried ordering the refills on line but sadly got a pop-up telling me this product cannot be purchased. I hope this is not a sign that this pen will soon be discontinued. It is the greatest pen I’ve ever used. This unusual attachment to a pen was born from my need to find something that was compact enough to fit in the forearm pen pocket of my military uniform. The telescopic pen by Zebra was the perfect answer.

I really like the pen but the stylus ripped so I can’t use it anymore. It unscrews so I thought I could buy replacement,they don’t sell them, so I am stuck with a nice pen and no stylus, which is why I bought this pen.

Stylus only lasted for about 3 months. No damage by my fault, just popped open and doesn’t work now. Tried to email Zebra and no reply at all. Plus i bought more for friends and now i’m stuck with all of these refills and no stylus. Should have lasted longer than 3 months for the price.

I love this stylus. It’s compact and effective. Writes very well and fits perfectly in my jeans pocket, clipped on the back edge of the opening so I can reach it even when sitting and don’t have to worry about it breaking in my pocket. The only downside (I would give it 4.5 stars if I could) was that the stylus tip no longer glides as well as it did when I first got it. I’ve seen some homemade solutions online, but would like Zebra’s recommendations: silicone grease? Superglue? I’m definitely NOT comfortable dipping the stylus in flour every so often, for my phone’s sake! Thanks! Will definitely buy another one or two, as backup!

I am a fan of Zebra pens but this one has failed some. I’ve only had it for a couple of months and the stylus no longer flows smoothly across my iPad screen. It’s a great combinations and would love to have another as long as the stylus held up as well as the other parts.
