    :

This is a really nice pen - I had to buy another as one of my clients grabbed it from me and would not give it back!

When my Zebra ballpoint pen ran out of ink, i rode moped 100 km in total only to get a new Zebra pen! (Not a refill, because i had modified the pen to adopt another brand of refill to make it work somehow again.) I found out that these come gel filled too, so i bought 2 gels and a ballpoint. Gel pens are great, but they seem to come to the end rather soon. I'm about to start my moped again...

The Steel G-301 pens are great. My friends like them, too. They don't take my other pens, just the Zebra pens. The pens are that good.

I love the way these pens write. My only complaint is how fast they run out of ink.

I love these pens. They SHOULD receive all 5 stars but because I have so much difficulty finding the refills for these gel pens and the refills seem to run out so much faster than any other gel pen I've ever had. That is why I still love these better than any other pen, but I'm so disappointed and don't use as often because of the refills. Can you please do something about this Zebra! Think of the $$ you're losing due to this in my opinion!

These pens are fantastic but they run out of ink very quickly. I'll have to debate whether to keep buying them. I LOVE how they write until they quit after a couple weeks.

Great pen but ink does not last very long about 8 days for how much I wright wish it was the same size as the f402 maybe that would help with more ink

I'm a student, and these pens last about 2 days for me. They write very smoothly, and have very pigment ink, but the lifespan is too short for me.

    :

Very good!! Only complaint is that I can't get refills from the same place I bought the pens, CVS. Also the clip seems to get bent out of shape alittle, as I repeatedly clip the pen to my Wranglers. Would be nice to see better spring steel in the clip. But that doesn't matter because these pens write like a dream. A little scratchy if you do not hold them at the correct angle, but once you are in the spot, It glides across the page, and this coming from a fountain pen guy.

As stated by others, these pens write superbly but do have issues. The ink does run out fairly quickly and even more to my dismay is the lack of strength needed for the plastic barrel/grip to break. I've had three break while in my hand writing. This is the weak part of the pen. You would think with a steel body, the pen would be more durable, but frustratingly that is a no.

I'm in the military and love the G-301 Gel because it lays down ink well, is sturdy, and it fits in the pen sleeves on my uniform so well. HOWEVER! It runs out of ink WAY TO FAST! Reminds me of buying a printer at a reasonable price, and then spending a FORTUNE replacing ink cartridges. C'mon Zebra. If you want me as a loyal customer, make changes to the refills. Otherwise, I'm outta here.

I love the way the pen writes. My main complaints keeping it from receiving all 5 starts is that the ink does run out fast and the plastic part of the barrel breaks way too easy. I work in a sales office but also do warehouse work so I am pretty tough on pens.

I really like this pen. You don't have to worry too much about it where I'd kind of worry about the rollerball pen even though it doesn't seem to bleed through unless you hold it in one spot for a long time. I have it in black and blue ink and I really like it.

Love the G-301 Pen and the refined look...stainless and sleek, fits perfect in FRC work wear. Adequate enough for all events I attend, no cheapo clear plastic body, nice! FYI, gel ink does not last and I'm tired of chasing refills, sorry. Swapped to a competitor's .5 mm gel pen and find that I like the smaller tip much better than the look of the 301. Build a G-301 .5 mm Gel with a FULL ink reservoir that lasts more than a week and I'm back in a heart beat...expand the line. All vendors I deal with carry this style of pen and pencil.

I LOVE the F301 Gel Pens. It's amazing how smooth they are. However they run out of ink so quickly! Mine lasted less than a month. I know gel goes faster than regular ink, but less than a month? Sadly I won't be buying the gel anytime soon unless you put more ink in the refill. I'll stick with the regular F301 for now.

I really love this pen ! It's most likely my favorite one ever. Unfortunately I took it apart and I can't seem to be able to put it back together. Can someone help me please ?

I love these pens and how they write. My only complaint is that they do not last long at all. I'm lucky if I get a week out of them. Not sure they are worth money or if I will purchase them again.

Im a patrol officer and I do a ton of writing but was tired on the plastic clips breaking on my G2's so i researched and found what I thought would be a more durable replacement. Loved it at first but ran out of ink after 4 days of patrol. Guess ill have to go back to research because after paying 6.00 and change for 2 pens I have to but refills. No way am i buying refills every week. Great pen but you will have to go back to the drawing board for ink capacity before I'll buy agian!!!

I've been buying the g301 steel gel pen for years on my regular trips to the US, essential as they're always being 'borrowed' by clients and family, but never returned. However refills are poor value as they have ridiculously short writing life. I read about your dry ink development. How will this compare to the existing gel, in write quality, life expectation and price? And when will it be available here in the UK? Jeff S

I work in utilities, and I do a lot of writing. No really, A LOT of writing. I check and monitor several facilities, and each facility has a log book. Several of these facilities are in operation 24/7. This is by far, the best pen I have ever used. It looks great, it fits in my shirt pockets (and they stay there and don't fall out), it has a really nice weight, writes nice and clear, it makes my messy handwriting look "artistic",... I could go on and on and on... But, The reason I'm even taking the time to add my comments, is what most of your loyal customers have already stated. I'm lucky to get 2 weeks of ink out of a new pen. These puppies aren't cheap. For such a amazing product, the actual "PURPOSE" of the product fails...quickly. Refills? Nope. They are as scarce as a Mogwai. So, I buy another $7 pk. *sigh*

I'm really glad I can discover this pen! They're super great! Long story short, I was looking for some SARASA refills (JF-0.5), instead without a second glance, I accidentally bought a JK-0.5, a refill for this pen. Turns out, this is now my favorite pen. Better than SARASA (my past favorite, but it's still good though), on my opinions. My only rant is how fast their refills are relatively aren't cheap, and it runs out pretty fast. But I LOVE IT!

    :

I absolutely love this pen. At my work we use a lot of different colored papers, and the gel ink is the only thing that will write smoothly and with sufficient contrast to be really legible. Unfortunately, the barrel is a little flimsy and the ink runs out too soon. Also, if you drop it on a hard floor with the point out, forget it-get a refill because the point will be ruined. If you would offer the gel ink in the body of your F701 pen with the same large refills as the F701 you'd have a real winner with the industrial crowd!

Hi Russ, thanks for your commitment to Zebra. Sit tight, we have some big things coming in 2017 and 2018!

I absolutely love these pens but they run out of ink so fast. I rated it a 4 only because of the ink problem. Do your executives read these reviews? They all say the same thing. Good grief you have such a winner here but you need to tweak it a bit. Please don't make it big and fat, you have a lot of room in the barrel to expand the cartridge. The grip and overall size is something you should not mess with because that is also part of this pens appeal...
